How to use it
- Rinse & Soak: Rinse grains gently. Soak in clean water for 20–30 minutes before cooking to soften the outer bran and unlock nutrients.
- Water Ratio: Use 1 cup millet to 2 cups water for fluffy rice-style grains; use 1:2.5 for soft pongal or comforting khichdi.
- Pressure Cooker Method: Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 whistles. Allow the pressure to release naturally, then fluff with a fork.
- Open Pot / Electric Cooker: Simmer covered on low heat for 12–15 minutes until liquid is fully absorbed. Rest covered for 5 minutes before serving.
