Cook like rice: Rinse thoroughly (kodo can need an extra rinse). Use about 1:2.5 grain to water. Pressure-cook 2–3 whistles.
Ideas: Kodo millet rice, vegetable upma, and thick savoury porridge.
Tip: Soak 30–60 minutes if you prefer a softer bite.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container after opening.
Not flour: Do not use as 1:1 atta substitute without grinding. Prefer Kodo Millet Powder (Arikelu) when you need fine flour for dosa or roti batter.
