Method & Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow each step carefully for the authentic aroma and taste

  1. 1

Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan on low flame. Add 200g HealEx Ragi Flour.

  2. 2

Roast continuously on low flame for 10-12 minutes until the raw smell vanishes and a rich, nutty, chocolatey aroma fills the kitchen (do not rush on high flame).

  3. 3

Add roasted chopped almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, and cardamom powder; mix well for 1 minute.

  4. 4

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it is warm to touch.

  5. 5

Add 150g grated jaggery to the warm flour. Rub and mix thoroughly with your palms so the jaggery melts gently into the warm ghee and flour (or pulse once in a food processor).

  6. 6

Add the remaining 1 tbsp melted ghee if needed for binding.

  7. 7

Take small portions of the warm mixture and press firmly between your palms to shape into round, smooth ladoos.

  8. 8

Allow them to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks at room temperature.
